Kim Hongrok made a work matching the size and form of the original raft, using steel, aluminum, bicycle wheels, and oars, and installed it in the gallery. Kim Hongrok and Raul Bussot Jr. ate and slept on it for five days, reenacting the voyage of twenty years earlier.

A 2013 series made by applying diamond dust to McDonald’s hamburger wrappers collected in cities around the world. Here, ‘diamond dust’ refers not to powder but to very small natural diamonds with multiple facets that reflect light.
